Hi, I’m Elizabeth!
I am a Colorado based UX Researcher.
As a UX Research professional my practice is informed by Design Thinking, Human Centered Design, industry best practices, as well as my constant curiosity of the world around me. I am deeply fascinated by the connection between human psychology, what we value as a society, and how our individual lived experience shapes our behavior. This curiosity led me to UX Research, the intersection of design, psychology, and creativity.
I strive to bring the humanity of a problem to the forefront.
Using compelling data + powerful storytelling my research engages and inspires product teams to actionably innovate on the user experience and deliver products that create customer happiness and hit business goals.
When I am not doing user interviews, you can find me hiking, working on my art practice, or cooking my latest favorite recipe in the kitchen.
Still curious to learn more?
With a background in corporate event planning and public education,
I have 15 years of expertise in crafting meaningful experiences and developing effective solutions to a wide variety of problems.
As an event planner I collaborated with team members and clients while developing meaningful connections between the content delivered and the experience of event attendees. Through effective communication with clients, I understood their needs beyond the surface level. Deeper questions led to designing purposeful solutions down to the smallest details while managing budget constraints, and internal company needs.
As a high school visual arts educator I continued my practice of empathy based design. Developing a four level program with beginning through college level curriculum, I constructed program recruitment and retention strategies that resulted in an increased enrollment in the Visual Arts program. Advocating for students and empowering them to take ownership of their learning process was at the core of all actions in my teaching practice. Creating the annual art exhibition which invited community members to engage with student art work was one of my favorite achievements in this role.
I look forward to helping you solve your next big problem soon!
